THE AUTISM EDUCATION NETWORK
www.autismeducation.net
The Autism Education Network is a 501(3) ©) nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting parents and professionals through the internet to influence and improve education policy and programs for individuals with autism. The organization was founded as a result of my own struggle to secure appropriate special education services for my four-year-old son, John, who was diagnosed with autistic disorder in December, 2002
We are happy to launch our website www.autismeducation.net April 1st in recognition of National Autism Awareness month. The site was created to raise awareness about the importance of effective education programs and to help parents secure appropriate special education services for their children with autism.
